John has really started to "talk" more this weekend. Of course, the majority of it sounds Japanese but you can really tell that he wants to communicate. John is 14 months old now. Courtney bought him a bubble machine for his birthday and we set it up this afternoon out on the deck. He was so funny running in and out of the bubbles yelling "Pop Pop"! Adam and I laughed and the more we laughed the sillier John acted. I am thankful everyday for my sweet little miracle and have to pinch myself somedays because I can't believe it's real.

Here are John's easter pictures. I wasn't sure what to expect when we went to have these done. I honestly felt like John may cry. Instead, he squeeled in delight over the bunnies. He absolutely loved them!! So much so that he would grab them by their ears and shake them around a little bit before trying to run and bring them to me or Adam. I felt sure that by the end of it Adam and I were going to be buying a dead bunny. Thanksfully, we did not have to....those bunnies are remarkably resilient!

Manning Look-alike Meter

MyHeritage: Look-alike Meter - Creating a family tree - Family name history

New in 2009

Well, John will be 10 months old next week. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He has been pretty sick this past month. He has had RSV, an ear infection, and then he developed Roseola adn ran a high fever of 103.6 for about 48 hours and then broke out in a terrible rash from head to toe. Since then however, knock on wood, he has felt really good. He is doing alot of new things so far this year. He is saying bye-bye and waving, saying "uh oh" when he drops something from his highchair, drinking from a sippy cup, and officially "walking" taking 6-7 steps between Adam and I. He is getting braver everyday. Here are a few new pictures and I will upload a video of him walking. Come and visit us anytime!!

John's 1st Christmas

Wow, this Christmas Holiday has truly flown by. This was our 1st Christmas with our little angel and we have enjoyed every minute of it. We have spent this entire month trying to keep John from pulling our Christmas tree down. Needless to say we took it down the day after Christmas! We have spent alot of time with family and friends and I am so thankful for each and every one of them. John has received a ton of toys and is having a blast playing with them! I can't even imagine how much fun next Christmas is going to be when John is a little older!
